Before you order
- Confirm your bulb size and factory headlight package.
- Some vehicles may require CANBUS or anti-flicker modules.
- Some LED/HID upgrades may be intended for off-road, show, auxiliary, or permitted-use applications only. Check local laws before using upgraded forward lighting on public roads.

Diode Dynamics SL2 Pro
High-output LED lighting with factory-style focus.
The SL2 Pro is built for drivers who want more usable forward lighting without messy wiring, oversized drivers, or uncontrolled glare from generic LED bulbs.
Why the SL2 Pro exists
A cleaner LED upgrade for real housings
Diode Dynamics designed the SL2 Pro around the idea that matters most in a headlight or fog light housing: stronger output needs a controlled light source. The result is a compact LED bulb focused on usable output, thermal control, and clean installation.
Output upgrade
More light where the beam needs it
The SL2 Pro is rated at 2400 measured lumens per bulb with a 6000K white output. Instead of chasing raw brightness alone, the design focuses on putting stronger light into the usable beam pattern.
Why this matters: A brighter bulb only helps when the housing can control the light. Better beam focus helps improve distance visibility without turning the foreground into a bright glare patch.
TST LED technology
Built to move heat away from the emitter
The SL2 Pro uses Diode Dynamics thermal separation technology. The electrical connections are positioned on top of the LED, so the bottom surface can help channel heat away from the emitter and into the bulb body.
BRI Source note: Heat management is a big part of LED performance. A bulb that controls temperature better can maintain output more consistently and support longer service life.
Optical focus
Designed to work with the housing
Headlight and fog light housings are designed around a specific light source location. The SL2 Pro is engineered to better match the original bulb's focal point, helping preserve a smooth, controlled beam pattern.
Housing note: Reflector, projector, fog, and high-beam housings can use the same bulb size differently. The SL2 Pro is built around controlled emitter placement to help the housing do its job.
Integrated install
No bulky external driver to hide
The SL2 Pro uses a fully integrated design with no extra external driver box. The compact body, plug-and-play connector, and adjustable collar help make installation cleaner in tight headlight and fog light housings.
Install note: Some vehicles may still require anti-flicker or CANBUS modules to prevent flicker, radio interference, bulb-out messages, or DRL-related behavior.
Reliability support
Built, tested, and backed for long-term use
The SL2 Pro combines metal construction, an integrated top-mounted fan, sealed internal electronics, and transient protection to support consistent performance in real vehicle conditions.
Reliability note: The SL2 Pro is built with metal construction, transient protection, 9-30V compatibility, and environmental testing from minus 40 C to 85 C.
Setup Notes
Built for the housing, not just the spec sheet
The SL2 Pro is designed around useful output, thermal control, and controlled emitter placement. Headlight package, housing style, DRL behavior, and vehicle electronics can still affect the final setup.
Use the BRI Source Shop by Vehicle tool or check whether your vehicle requires CANBUS decoders or anti-flicker modules before ordering.
LED upgrades may be intended for off-road, show, auxiliary, or permitted-use applications only depending on local laws and lighting position.
