Before you order
- Confirm your bulb size and factory headlight package.
- Some vehicles may require CANBUS or anti-flicker modules.
- Some LED/HID upgrades may be intended for off-road, show, auxiliary, or permitted-use applications only. Check local laws before using upgraded forward lighting on public roads.

GTR Lighting Ultra HID
A premium HID conversion system with matched components.
The GTR Lighting Ultra Series HID Conversion Kit pairs HID bulbs with slim smart ballasts and application-specific bulb sizing. It is built for customers who want a complete HID upgrade path instead of mixing random bulbs, ballasts, and wiring parts.
HID System Planning
A complete HID system starts with matched components
HID conversions are at their best when bulb size, housing style, return-wire orientation, color temperature, and wiring support all work together. The GTR Lighting Ultra HID kit gives you a premium HID platform with the options needed to build that system cleanly.
Complete HID System
Bulbs and ballasts designed to work together
The Ultra Series kit includes HID bulbs and slim HID ballasts with integrated igniters. The bulb creates the light, the ballast starts and regulates the arc, and the wiring support helps the system communicate cleanly with the vehicle.
That complete-system approach matters because HID performance is only as strong as the weakest part of the setup. Poor grounds, weak startup power, or the wrong support hardware can cause flicker, misfires, warning messages, or inconsistent output.
BRI Source note: HID output is strongest when the bulb, ballast, wiring, and housing work together. Use the right bulb size, return-wire orientation, and electronics support for the cleanest result.
Smart Ballast Design
Built for modern headlight circuits
The Ultra Series slim ballast is designed for HID startup control and compatibility support on many vehicles with monitored headlight circuits. It helps manage the high-voltage ignition event and then regulates output once the HID bulb is running.
Many late-model vehicles use PWM signals, bulb-out monitoring, or sensitive lighting electronics. The correct ballast and support setup helps reduce common HID issues such as flicker, flashing, startup problems, or warning lights.
Important: Vehicles with bulb-out warnings, PWM lighting, or DRL headlight behavior may need CANBUS, anti-flicker, or relay support.
HID Bulb Output
Choose the color temperature that fits the application
Color options include 3000K Golden Yellow, 4300K OEM White, 5000K Pure White, and 6000K Diamond White. Warmer colors can work well for fog or poor-weather visibility, while 4300K to 5000K is often chosen for a more OEM-style white output.
HID color can affect the look and usable light on the road. Cooler color temperatures may look sharper, but the housing, bulb alignment, and application still control the final beam pattern.
Color note: Choose color for the way the vehicle is used. Fog, projector low beam, reflector low beam, and cosmetic preference can all point to different color choices.
What Comes In The Kit
Core parts included for a complete HID conversion
The kit includes two HID bulbs and two CANBUS-style HID ballasts with integrated igniters. Dual-beam applications include relay pack support for the high/low beam function.
Available bulb families include H11B/H8/H9, H1, H3, H4/9003 dual-beam, H7A, H11A, H13/9008 dual-beam, 9004 dual-beam, 9007 dual-beam, 9005/H10/9145, 9006, 9012, 880/893, and 5202/2504.
Install note: Some European applications may require bulb base adapters, and some vehicles may need additional anti-flicker or decoder support.

Before You Order
Choose the kit around the vehicle, not just the bulb size
Use the Shop by Vehicle tool for known bulb and package information, review the CANBUS and decoder guide, check the H11A vs H11B / H7A vs H7B guide, or open a support request for setup help before ordering.
