Before you order
- Confirm your bulb size and factory headlight package.
- Some vehicles may require CANBUS or anti-flicker modules.
- Some LED/HID upgrades may be intended for off-road, show, auxiliary, or permitted-use applications only. Check local laws before using upgraded forward lighting on public roads.

XenonDepot Xtreme XTR HID
A complete 35W HID system with clean component matching.
The XenonDepot Xtreme XTR HID Conversion Kit is built around matched HID bulbs, slim digital ballasts, and relay harness support. It is a strong choice for customers who want a complete HID setup instead of piecing together bulbs, ballasts, and wiring separately.
HID System Planning
A complete HID kit with the core parts included
The Xtreme XTR kit keeps the main HID components together: bulbs, ballasts, and relay harness support. It is a cleaner path than mixing bulbs, ballasts, and wiring from different systems.
HID Bulbs
Quartz-glass HID capsules for controlled output
The Xtreme XTR kit uses HID bulbs made with Philips quartz glass and laser alignment to help maintain an optically correct beam pattern. That matters because HID capsules need to place the arc where the original housing expects the light source to be.
Color options include 3000K, 4300K, 5000K, and 6000K, so you can choose warmer yellow output, OEM-style white, pure white, or a cooler white look depending on the application.
Color note: HID bulbs should be replaced in pairs for the closest color match.
Ballasts
35W digital ballasts built for stable HID startup
The XTR ballasts are slim digital 35W HID ballasts designed to monitor bulb power requirements and support consistent operation. The ballast design includes EMI filtering to help reduce radio interference and conflicts with sensitive vehicle electronics.
The system is rated for 9-32V DC input, 23kV ignition voltage, less than 4.5A input at 12V DC, and operation from -40C to +85C.
Why this matters: HID systems draw more current during startup than during steady operation. Stable ballast behavior helps reduce flicker, misfires, and mismatched output.
Relay Harnesses
Dedicated harness support for each side
The XTR kit includes two relay harnesses, one per side. Each harness has its own fuse, ground location, positive battery lead, sealed relay, and an input connector that plugs into the vehicle headlight harness without wire splicing.
This helps the factory headlight circuit trigger the HID system while the ballasts receive cleaner startup power through the harness.
Install note: Clean grounds and fully seated connectors are important. Poor grounds and loose connectors are common HID troubleshooting points.
Application Notice
Use notice and system checks
HID forward-lighting upgrades may be intended for off-road, show, auxiliary, or permitted-use applications only. Check local laws before using upgraded forward lighting on public roads. Some vehicles may require PWM, CANBUS, anti-flicker, relay, or package-specific confirmation.
