How information is shared

Service providers and third parties

We share personal information only as needed to operate BRI Source, provide services, comply with law, protect our rights, or support authorized business purposes. Examples include:

Store and checkout

Shopify powers our online store, checkout, customer accounts, order management, and related store services.

We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce policies, prevent fraud, protect safety, or defend legal claims.

Shopify privacy: You can read more about how Shopify handles customer personal data in the Shopify Privacy Policy and manage certain Shopify privacy choices through the Shopify Privacy Portal.

Targeted advertising

Advertising, analytics, and data sharing choices

We may use information about your visits, product views, purchases, or interactions to help measure advertising and show more relevant marketing. Depending on applicable law, some targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising use of personal information.

If a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" or similar privacy control is available in the footer, cookie banner, or Shopify privacy settings, you may use that control. You may also contact us using the contact information below.

Your rights and choices

Access, correction, deletion, and opt-out requests

  • Privacy requests: Contact BRI Source using the contact details below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

Limits on deletion: We may retain information when needed for order records, taxes, accounting, fraud prevention, legal obligations, warranty records, disputes, chargebacks, safety, or other legitimate business purposes.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Browser privacy signals

Some browsers offer "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is not a consistent industry standard for responding to Do Not Track, our Site may not change its data collection practices when it receives a Do Not Track signal.

Where required by law or supported by our Shopify privacy settings and installed privacy tools, Global Privacy Control or similar legally recognized browser signals may be treated as an opt-out from sale/sharing or targeted advertising.

Data retention and security

How long information is kept

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, fulfill orders, maintain records, support warranties, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and operate our business. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to help protect personal information. No website, platform, payment system, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children and sensitive information

Information we do not intentionally collect

BRI Source is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for a support request. This includes Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account passwords, medical information, or other sensitive information unrelated to your order or support request.

International data transfers

BRI Source is based in the United States. If you visit the Site or purchase from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, processed in, and stored in the United States, Canada, or other countries where Shopify, service providers, payment processors, shipping partners, or support providers operate.
